With exposure to both the business and creative sides of the industry, Althea took a deep breath, moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles, and started her own company.  As an independent filmmaker, she does everything from pitching clients, producing the budgets to acquire for work, leasing equipment, assembling and managing crews through producing a final production.  She garnered over 22 national awards within two years. Grounded in the technical, Althea was careful not to ignore the creative. “I began to develop, or rather explore my own artistry.” Althea returned to school and completed a Master of Arts in Animation and a Master of Fine Arts in Film, both from the Savannah College of Art and Design. “My mission is to produce films that teach as well as entertain, pique the interest of the audience and elicit a response.”
